The goal of product discovery is to discover a solution that your customers love and that work for your business.
Customers and stakeholders aren't able to tell you what to build because they cannot know whether a solution is valuable, usable, feasible, and viable. This is both because they are not experts in your technology, and because which solutions will be successful is very difficult to predict.
