"Blindly loyal followers" are not allies to change. They are likely to hop onto the next bandwagon as quickly as they joined your cause.

The "militantly opposed" who seek a return to the old status quo are also (and clearly) not allies to change.

Your true allies are the "believers but questioners". You can sway them not solely by rational discussion but also through emotional appeal.
