Here's a brief primer on speaking with the media:

• Answer the question you want to be asked. Reframe questions that are difficult; don't accept the implicit framing.
• Stay positive. Find a positive framing, especially regarding controversy and competition.
• Speak in threes. Narrow your message to three points, and continually refer back to them.
